Sounds like you have an abscessed tooth (infection). For now, place cold packs over the area to ease some of the swelling. Tylenol, Aspirin, Motrin all help at relieving pain and reducing swelling.
You can also alternate the icea packs with warm compresses.

In the morning make an emergency appointment to see your dentist. It is obvious that you will require antibiotics.

Tooth abscesses are serious because of the close proximity to the brain.
An untreated bacterial infection can also invade the bloodstream.

I just had an abscess and was on antibiotics for 3 weeks. The only cure was to remove the tooth.

101 is a low grade fever, so if Aspirin isn't working try an Ibuprofin like Advil. If you want to sleep, get some Advil PM so even if the pain doesn't go away you can at least sleep through it. If you take 4x the recommended dose on the bottle it is the equivalent of a prescription dose of pain killers (of regular advil, don't quadruple the dose of Advil PM it has benadryl in it and you could start tripping)Health Question & Answer

What about Tylenol.? Different things work for different people. I personally can't take ibuprofen. I take 2 extra strength Tylenol for a fever. 3 aspirin for pain You could try ice too. It sounds like it would make you scream but it works. Health Question & Answer

This may not be the best advice, but what I do when I have a fever is take some Advil and lots of water and pile on the clothes and blankets and sweat it out all night. I hallucinate all night and feel better in the morning.Health Question & Answer
