Just wondering because I know I have gotten yet another sinus infection and really don't want to have to go to the doctor. Are antibiotics the only way to get rid of a sinus infection.?Health Question & Answer

It's unlikely that a deep sinus infection will go away without assistance. The bacteria can "hide" in the sinus cavities, so many ENT doctors will prescribe a long course of lower dose antibiotics (maybe for a month), and recommend nasal saline washes to help clear out the infection.

It's iffy, when I say this it's dependent on many many factors, the greatest one being your diet and your environment. An environment free from allergens and filled with fresh oxygen will assist in eliminating your sinus infection. As far as diet goes you need to eliminate sugar and alcohol as both have been noted to cause worse sinus infection symptoms.
You should eat garlic daily and use oregano oil, both are excellent anti-bacterials and anti-fungals. There is another one called sinus buster which I saw in 2 days eliminate a persons sinus infection when NOTHING else had worked, and they had the infection for over 2 months! It contains cayenne pepper as the main ingredient so this stuff is STRONG, I use it every once in a while to open up my sinuses. The one thing for sure is it works!
