Pain after having blood drawn?!
Question: Pain after having blood drawn.?
Has anyone has pain, bruising or aching after having blood drawn.? I think the lab tech did some damage as I got a 2" bruise from the needle, along with some aching pain on that arm. It's a week later, and I still have the ache, along with sore spots and more bruising a few inches away from the needle site. I've had my blood drawn quite a few times, and is the first time I've had the aching. Is this within normal.? (No signs of infection or joint pain).Health Question & Answer

Yes. In a day or so you will feel better. I have very small veins and it seems they always want to stick me with those monster needles. I usually have a bruise for a few days after giving blood.Health Question & Answer
