Question: Is dried blood in toddler's ear serious.?

I noticed some dried blood in my toddlers ear. He is always scratching at it, and does have a small little scratch in there. However, yesterday he bumped his head on the sidewalk. He seems totally fine, but is it possible that dried blood could be from a head injury.? I am waiting for the nurse to call me back, but it's taking forever!!Health Question & Answer

My 2 year old woke up one night with dried blood in his ear, we took him into the doctor and they look and saw that he just sratched the inside of his ear during the night. However I would have it looked at.Health Question & Answer

Well it could be just from him scratching it.But why not make a Dr apt and have it looked at.It is better to be safe than sorry.Health Question & Answer
