If you drank a hot drink once a week and mildly burned your tongue, I don't think so. The tongue is moist, giving it the ability to heal quickly. That's an interesting question. I always wonder how people can drink scolding hot cups of coffee when it can barely be hot for me and it burns my mouth. I wonder if people just get use to it.
