Swollen ankles and chest pain?!
Question: Swollen ankles and chest pain.?
I have been having chest pain when I breathe in and out and my ankles are swollen they have never been swollen before, my father died at the age of 48 of a heart attack and his father died at the age of 36 of a heart attack also, my cholesterol is 400 something can I be having a heart attack or am I just being paranoid.?Health Question & Answer

i don't know that i'd take the leap to calling it a heart attack
but sounds like there is definitely circulation problems going on there for sure, feet swell when stuff like that happens
the chest pain is never a good thing
i'd go get it checked out

you could be retaining water and it could cause heart failure. call 911. or at least go see a doctor. You don't have too good of a history.Health Question & Answer
