Stomach pain right bottom side?!

Question: Stomach pain right bottom side.?
When I was running I got this pain like someone was stabbing me with a knife in my bottom right of my stomach. I don't know what it is. It happened during when I was running and I got the pain and I couldn't run. I'm wanting to know if it is my appendix or not because some of my family got theirs taken out.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It could possibly be your appendix, iif you push down on your appendix and it still hurts you should go to the doctor and get it checked out. better safe then sorry because you really dont want to like appenditis go long because it could burst and then you could really have some trouble.Health Question & Answer

It could be your appendix. It could also be gas, or an intentestinal issue. If you are female it could be your ovary... or since you were running it might have been a cramp. I'd research your exact pain by gender on www.wedmd.com. Feel better!Health Question & Answer

very well could be your appendix...lay down and push down where the pain is...let go really fast...if the pain is still there it would be your appendix...that what they did to me when I had it!Health Question & Answer

here are some tips:

# Strengthen the diaphragm by using exercises such as those that aid respiratory rehabilitation
# Strengthen core muscles (abdominals, lower back, obliques)
# Limit consumption of food and drink two to three hours before exercising (in particular, drinks of high carbohydrate content and osmolarity (reconstituted fruit juices))
# Drink water beforehand to prevent muscle cramps
# Warm up properly (Stretch before running for a long period of time)
# Gradually increase exercise intensity when running
# Exhale when the left foot hits the ground, and inhale when the right foot hits the ground
# Run on soft surfacesHealth Question & Answer
