Eggs, Good or Bad? Honest answers please.?!

Question: Eggs, Good or Bad.? Honest answers please..?
I have to confess, I really, really like eggs. A lot of people are saying and convincing me not to eat eggs, but I just can't help it. I try not to eat it every day but in reality, I eat 1 medium size egg every other day. Would my cholesterol shoot-up.

I eat 1 medium egg for breakfast 3-4 x a week. Is there anybody who is like me. I can't eat cereals in the morning, I substitute cereals with fiber supplements.

Please educate me on what is the real deal about eggs, Thanks

P.S. I don't like the taste of egg substitutes, i can't stand it. sorryHealth Question & Answer

Eggs are very good for you. They are full of Omega 3's and protein. Just don't overdo it cause nothing good when there's too much of it. Health Question & Answer

I love eggs too. They are delicious.

For most people, eggs are nutritious and recommended. They are loaded with protein and vitamins.

They do have a lot of cholesterol, but for most people this isn't a problem. If you eat too much cholesterol, your body will just make less of it for use by your cells. It's more important to have a good balance of "good fats" vs "bad fats." Now, some people have issues with cholesterol and need to reduce the amount that they eat, in which case they need to avoid egg yolks.Health Question & Answer

A few years back doctors suddenly claimed that eggs were extremely bad for you and caused high cholesterol levels. Then just as sudden, it was said that they are not as bad as first believed. Eggs are actually a very good source of protein. I think if you cook your egg in a little olive oil and not butter, the olive is a natural cholesterol fighter as it is a good form of cholesterol. To be 100% certain how much is too much, ask your doctor.Health Question & Answer

Eggs are good for you, but they aren't good for the chickens that have to be crammed in the cages to lay them. I still eat eggs, but that's because my parents don't want me to be vegan because of some stupid stereotypes they believe. It's hard to get around animal by-products because a lot of things are made with them. A few eggs a week is alright for you. Health Question & Answer

There is lots of science behind my answer.

Eggs that you get from chickens you raised are about 50% LOWER in cholesterol and 50% higher in vitamins. Protein levels seem about the same.

Eggs from your own chickens are a near perfect food.
Eggs from the store are a tragic failure.

"free range" from the store is not what you picture in your mind. It just means these jail house chichens get to run for an hour or so a day.Health Question & Answer
