I don't mean like a black eye but the actual white of your eye.
I got a wallop on the eye earlier from an elbow and it stings when I blink or touch it at all and there's like two small brown smudges that look like bruises on the white bit. The person was wearing a wool jacket at the time so it may just be a scratch from that. Health Question & Answer

It sounds like a burst blood vessel, although painful, they will not cause any long term damage but if you feel better, see an optician. I've had a couple of them, I got poked in the eye with a plastic cocktail stick once.Health Question & Answer
you should seriously go to the optomitrist to get it checked out...it could be eye cancer.

no your eye may go red but you cannot bruise it because your eye ball because brsing is actually a type of internal bleeding in the skinHealth Question & Answer
