Question: How do I remove dried puss from inside my ear lobe.?
About four and a half weeks ago I pierced my ear and my friends house. I wanted to go to a 14 gauge as soon as I pierced it (I've never had a piercing before). So we took the earring that we put through my ear and kept pulling it really hard for like 15 minutes so could fit the gauge in. Four and a half weeks later the pain and the swelling has came down a lot and there is no puss what so ever. I have cleaned my ear three times a day with rubbing alcohol (Found out I wasn't supposed to use it until afterwards) and triple antibiotic.
Now to my real question...
Since my ear is basicly healed up how do I get the dried puss from inside my ear lobe to go away.? Like everytime I take my earring out I can feel the puss when I mess with it. It's like lumpy... Any help would be appriciated.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Try using a sterile gauze or cotton ball soaked in 0.9 normal saline, and hold in on the lobe allowing the saline to soak it awhile. This will loosen the material so it may be dislodged when you put the earring post through the opening. Saline may be purchased at the drug store, as well as sterile cotton balls or gauze. If pus continues to form, it is infected and needs treatment.Health Question & Answer
