When I was seven my left ring finger was chopped off by a chainsaw. Will this affect me with relationships?!

Question: When I was seven my left ring finger was chopped off by a chainsaw. Will this affect me with relationships.?
I was out in the garden with my older brother, and I was helping him cut some wood, but unfortunately I placed one of my fingers - my left ring fingerin the wrong place and it was chopped off at the first joint by a chainsaw. There was no way the finger could be re-attached, so they patched up the stump and it healed pretty quickly. Me being seven at the time, I didn't feel self-conscious, but now I'm 17 I'm worried that others may be turned off myself due to my missing finger. Is it an issue.? Personally I don't mind having a stump, it's still quite useful, but I don't know what others will think of it. Health Question & Answer

My son had 3/5 of his hand cut off in an accident. It hasn't affected him getting into relationships. The worst thing for him,he says,is when people always ask what happened and think he's not able to do something. He does everything others do,just in a different way.The end results end up the same way,he does what he wants, the best that he can.So I wouldn't worry about it.If someone is turned off because of it,it shows just how ignorant they really are .Health Question & Answer

It may be a bit awkward to tell you the truth but you can turn it around. If ppl see you comfortable with it then they would mind as much and they might even joke about it and it'll be something unique about you. Romantically, i think if a person should be able to accept a people as a whole and if they can't then they really arent the one for you. Health Question & Answer

yes...most guys look 4 the looks but then they see sumthin' gross or unusual or a little strnge then they r goin 2 freak out most of the time...i guess u culd get a fake finger if u ask the doc....Health Question & Answer

guys like slightly defective chicks. plus the whole it makes you different thing. and for intimacy i wouldnt worry about it, as long as theyre getting some they wont care. its all good as long as theyre not immediately turned off by it your good to go. it might be annoying but guys like to act like they care so they might ask what happened. trying to show you that theyre a compassionate person. whatever. id worry more bout the girls who call you stumps behind your back, and crack jokes, so they can better their relationships with other people. but yeah no worries as long as your confident with yourself nobody lil even notice.Health Question & Answer

Why would it, it is only a problem if you let it be a problem . Only the tip, if I got this right, was cut off so you have the rest of your finger a ring will still sit on it quite well. If a guy doesn't like you because of your missing finger then you shouldn't worry about him because he is just a dope that will be missing out on the rest of you, and the saddest part is he will miss out on the beautiful person that you are....
So don't worry about your finger you still have best part of you....you.... ; )

Take care and Keep the Faith....Peace....cya....Health Question & Answer
