Question about Malpractice?!

Question: Question about Malpractice.?
Had foot surgery and things went wrong.. I had foot surgery 2 months ago because i stepped on a stick and it went through my shoe and entered my foot. The Dr. claimed he did not find anything. Went back 2 weeks ago because i was still unable to walk and the Dr. told me it was only a cal is and told me to put a gel insert in my shoe and told me i was crazy and to go home. I woke up 4 days later to not being able to wiggle my toes or feel my foot. I had red lines going up my leg and through my toes. I went to the Emergency room and the Dr. there cut me open and found a large piece of stick still in my foot and he put me on all kinds of meds. now my foot is better and the greenish stuff they squeezed out came back as just a severe infection luckily i had no Mercia or anything like that growing in my foot. I called lawyers and they told me sorry they couldn't help me. does anyone else know of anyone who could.? or recommend anything besides just changing Doctor's
And I have Documentation of everything and pictures of everything.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
you need a lawyer specialized in this area to look with you at the documentation you have. he or she can then explain to you whether i would make sense to go ahead with a lawsuit or not. from your post i can't tell if you've already been at this point, but if a competent lawyer tells you, that you don't stand much of a chance with this, i guess you have to give up on it.
good luck with your recovery, thoughHealth Question & Answer

Best talk to a lawyer... this medical stuff can get tricky to figure out. Usually malpractice refers to a professional acting grossly negligent or doing things they are not trained to do. See if you can find a lawyer that will give you a free consult.Health Question & Answer
