How to raise money legally?!
Question: How to raise money legally.?
I would like to raise some money for my Mother in order to buy her an insulin pump. She has type 1 diabetes and struggles to keep her sugar and insulin levels balanced. I watched the Today show on NBC this morning and they had a story that mentioned the Paradigm insulin pump for diabetics. I just looked it up on the internet and they are very very expensive. I myself don't have that kind of money and don't think my Mother's health insurance would cover it. I wanted to know if there is a way to raise the money legally through some kind of fund raiser.? I wish it were the old days that you could just ask a business if it's ok to leave a container with brief info and kind people would just drop in their spare change. Try to see if the insurance will cover it. Ask the company that sells the pump if they can bill it by way of DME. There may be other companies that sell medical equipment that can help you buy the machine, or offer alternative billing to your insurance company.Health Question & Answer
