Bite on foot? What from?!
Question: Bite on foot.? What from.?
On Tues. on the school bus I remember feeling like a needle poked into the left side of my right foot. I thought it was a mosquito flying low (I've seen that when they get sprayed or something) and didn't give it another thought. Yesterday I woke up and when I stood up I flinched and lifted my right foot. I looked at it and saw nothing at all except for a small ant bite-ish kind of thing where I felt the bite yest. but didn't remember that at the time. I figured I had slept on my foot and thought it would go away in a few minutes. I went to school limping trying to avoid pain-- any nerve close to under my big toe and the toe to the right of it that moved or got touched hurt. It felt like needles constantly poking me only when a nerve there moved. Besides that nothing bothered me until about 3hrs later. After that the pain increased like NAILS being pounded into my foot even when I wasn't moving it. I tried to hand tough in school but in 6th period around 1pm I couldn't handle it and actually started crying. When I went to the school nurse she looked at it and it was REALLY swollen to the point at times it felt so stiff it felt hard to even move it. She put me on "Sent Home" and my Mom picked me up. I got home and she gave me two Benadryls (Did I mis-spell that.?). I took two naps for about an hour at a time after that (pre-teens to adults=two pills). When I woke up I felt groggy which I expected but it didn't feel any better. My Mom looked at my foot and we saw a red thin trail from the bite which now looked like a bite and it trailed to where the pain was-- under my big toe and the one to the right of it. Any clue what it could be.? Any advice.?
About 15mins ago my Mom told me to pop it (weird....) so we did then put some after-bite on it (it kinda stung) then a bag of ice also. It started to look even worse and now it looks like a mosquito bite with a little red hole in the middle and red around it.

Sounds like a spider bite. Especially if there is a red trail on it. That means that the poison is getting in ur bloodstream. Dont freak, its okay for now!
The spider that bit you was prob a brown recluse, they make the bite area swollen and numb, which means the tissue where it bit you is now dead. And will have to be cut out. Tell your Mom not to pop it anymore, because they only makes spider bites worse, and plus can make a pathway for other painful stuff to get in! Like staff and infections.
Go to your doctor and ask him to inspect it. He'll give you antibiotics and pain relievers and will also refer you to another doctor who will cut it open and suck all the infection and pus out and then pack it with gauze. It will have to be changed about four times, and then it will be okay.
