NORCO & curvation of the spine ?!

I read that you can't take it but can't seem to find out why this passed June an xray showed I had slight curveation of tailbone area {& when I was little Kaiser said I had Scoliosis but I never needed a brace or surgery or anything like that I can't even remember having Physical therapy 4 it an d as I grew older less I heard about it}anyways I popped my tailbone & was prescribed Soma & Norco which worked better then regular Vicodin & Flexerl r Skelaxin I would have 2 have took up to 6 pills of V a day & 2 flexril r skelaxin with little relief for this now I only am taking 1 Norco a day & 1 soma @ night and it works well.Then someone told me about how you can't take it if you have a curvation of spine but nothing says why & I mean should I be concerned I took thease before with no problems and now ....none so does anyone know why or if it's dangerous .?.?.?.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

Whoever told you that you can't take those medications with curvature of the spine is WRONG! There's no reason why not. As long as your doctor prescribed it, and you've taken it before with no ill effects, don't worry. BTW, Vicodin and Norco both contain the same drug, hydrocodone. Norco comes with 10 mg hydrocodone, Vicodin comes in 5mg, 7.5 mg, and 10mg. Same drug, although Norco contains less acetominaphin (tylenol) than Vicodin.Health Question & Answer
