Question: Why is it that when i poop i see blood on the toilet paper.?
this has been happening for a few months .. sometimes it hurts to poop.?

You might be dehydrated or not eating enough food with fiber, making it difficult to have a bowel movement. The blood is most likely from right around the anal opening (sorry to be graphic) because when the stools are hard, they are less pliable, there's less natural lubrication and the sphincter has to stretch more.
Really, drink more water and eat more whole grains and vegetables. If that doesn't help, you can try a deaily fiber supplement like Metamucil or Benefiber, but I'd try water first.
PS, if the blood is bright red and just on the toilet paper and not dark and in your actual stools, it's not Crohn's or a gastrointestinal bleeding problem.Health Question & Answer

Well, if your stool in hard or not as soft as usual, you could be constipated, which irritates your colon, you should try some kind of laxative like milk of magnisa , but if your not constipated, then you should see the doctor.Health Question & Answer
I've looked this up on WebMD. One result I got was hemorrhoids. If you've had a habit of straining when you go, that would have caused a hemorrhoid, which would bleed slightly.Health Question & Answer
