Question: I got stung by a bee/wasp/yellow jacket yesterday, what's wrong with my foot.?
I was sitting in orchestra rehearsal when I got stung (I'm not sure what kind of bee it was) on my right foot. I didn't do anything to provoke it, it just stung me! But that was yesterday and my foot is now swollen a little, red, painful and itchy. This has never happened before! It's not an allergic reaction or anything is it.? Or is it just becuase it was on the top of my foot, where there is little to no fat.?

im not sure.. but here is a site that can maybe help you identify the problem.. sorry about that i once got stung by a yellow jacket in myrtle beach sc i live near there at a theme park called the pavilllion.. i was up in the rainbow lift and when the ride pushed me up in the air i came down on a yellow jacket lol.. i was screaming and everyone thought that i was scared of the ride! i never was since i got on it a millions times... oh well heres the site

Make a up a paste with bicarbonate of soda (get it in the grocery store) and a drop of water and then dab it all over the inflamed area. It leaves crumbly sort of salty grains on the skin when it dries. It will draw the poison out and stop the itch. (If you had done that immediately you could have almost completely prevented the swelling and itchy reaction).Health Question & Answer
No it's not an allergic reaction i think, my mother told me once that if you get stung it swells up a lot. I think you should go to the health center or see a doctor or something.Health Question & Answer
omg dont bee a wuss!!! put some meat tenderizer on the sting... there isnt too much else you can do... bee more freindly to bugs... lol... if you had an allergic reaction youd know it... youll bee fine!!!Health Question & Answer
