Question: What happened to me last night.?
Ok, I'm not a drug addict or anything (actually never done drugs before) but last night i was having trouble sleeping. I'm 16 years old btw. I decided to take some sleeping pills. I didn't read the box (i no...)and decided that the recommened amount was prolly two, so i should take 3 to make it work faster. After i took 3 i decided to look at the container and it said no more than 1. I was kinda freaked out. about 30-45 mintues later i started to get dizzy, and i was stone cold tired. I went to bed and fell asleep ASAP. When I woke up for school I was still dead tired ( went to bed at 11:30, woke up at 7:00)(about 7 hours of sleep) I was really tired, and in the mornign i kept getting dizzy every once and a while. The wierdest thing to me was i kept getting these uncontrolable shivers that ran down my spine. After lunch I was completely fine though.
My question to u is, what happened to me.? Thats it lol.

Over the counter sleeping meds will cause a hangover effect the next day especially someone your age taking so many. This is normal although the shivers down your spine is something that shouldnt be caused by sleeping meds. Maybe it was just something that happened from the meds wearing off, and then it could maybe you could have been cold. Theres nothing to worry about though. Health Question & Answer
