Question: Questions about Glucosamine chondroiton.?
I have two doctors- one of them suggested I try these G/C to help with osteo arthritis. Both docs have said there wouldn't be any drug interactions with other medications but I was wondering if anyone had bad side effects.? And how long do you take it for, is this a lifetime commitment or is 90 days enough.? Health Question & Answer

It's a lifetime commitment and believe me when I say I can really feel the difference when I don't take it. I have had no side effects at all and I highly recommend it.
Some people add MSM - I see no difference with or without that.
Some also add Hyaluronic Acid which is extremely expensive so I take it for a month or so every so often, but not regularly.
I would suggest that you visit a real health food store (one with food) NOT GNC and purchase the GL/CH there rather than at a drugstore or grocery store since the one you buy in the Health food store won't have lots of weird additives. Health Question & Answer

It is a lifetime committment, but well worth it if it works!! My husband swears by it. He takes 2 pills per day with food. Before he started taking it, his hips and legs would really hurt him a lot. Now they don't. Personally, I tried it and it didn't work for me. The only thing that helps me is exercise and a prescription arthritis medication that I take twice a day. Health Question & Answer
