Poor you. I know how you feel. Ive been suffering since I was a kid. Tried loads of pills but my doc prescribed Beta Blockers and they have been brilliant, my migraines are SO much better. You really must drink loads of water, dehydration is a main cause as is food intolerance and stress. You need to go to the doc to help find your trigger.
You can also get an anti-sickness tablet if vomitting is a problem.

Hope this helps xHealth Question & Answer

A headache and a migraine are completely different.

You'd be surprised how effective drinking more water is on your overall health. Usually - if I get a migraine it's because I'm overly stressed and dehydrated. I have prescriptions from my doctor that I am instructed to take at the onset of the migraine and every 4 hours there after. If it does not help alleviate the pain; I go on to the next prescription. If that doesn't help - I go to the emergency room for a couple shots.

At the onset - I usually find the darkest, most quiet room I can possibly find - pull the covers over my head and put a cold wash cloth on my face and on my neck.

Headache can be from several things stress, allergens, seasonal allergies, sinus infection.

Some times food triggers a migraine. I know a girl who gets them after eating hot dogs. I get bright flashes in my eyes when I'm getting ready to get one. Its different for everyone. Health Question & Answer

Migraine is an individual thing. Try to lie down and sleep. Tablets sometimes do nothing to help.

Stress is a cause a lot of the time, also lights flashing and tiredness. Foods such as Yoghurt's, chocolate, cheese can all bring migraine on. Dairy stuff. Being in too much noise for too long.

Headaches are diagnosed according when they are Top, back, side or all over the head.
Front one sometimes mean eyes needs looking at. Tensions cause the back ones and side ones. Periods(in women) the day before.

Take a normal OTC (over the counter) tablet.
If the symptoms keep on you should ask the doctor.
