Question: Ive got to have a bone graph in my arm .?
hi ive got to have a bit of my pelvis out and put into both my bones in my arm as they have plated it but my bones are not knitting back together im not sure what this entails and unsure if its going to effect my hip please helpHealth Question & Answer

Bone grafts are used to repair a fracture that hasn't healed properly.
Your hip will be a bit sore after the piece of bone needed is removed but it won't affect your hip in the long term.
All the non-union bits of bone and any that is damaged is removed, the defect is filled with the bone removed from the hip and it is all held in place with a plate.
A plaster is not always applied afterwards as iot can be important to move the arm.
