Broken or dislocated toe?!

Question: Broken or dislocated toe.?
About 8 weeks ago I hurt my toe having a kick around with the kids its been hurting ever since but nothing too bad just slight pain. I can move it and been walking ok but last night I caught it awkwardly in bed and now its hurting when I walk but still nothing extreme. My bf thinks I may have dislocated it because the tip is slightly turned in I thought it as always looked that way but Im not sure now the pain is at the base of my toe and I cant pinpoint the exact spot. Its my toe next to the big one. Health Question & Answer

Hey,
Aww! I hope it gets better!
- I know, this is weird. I've broken 6 toes within the last 6 months, and I broke my pinky toe today! Haha.

I broke four of the bones leading to my toes, jumping off a ladder for a dare.
I then broke my small toe, by running away too fast and smashing it into the edge of my bed. There was blood! I had a open fracture. I needed surgery.
Then, today, I re-broke the break in my small toe, (yes, blood again!) - by slamming it in the car door!

I must admit; even 8 weeks after a break, it's still sore! Try not to do as much activites and give your foot healing process! :)
I strongly recommend going to your local doctor, or hospital to get your foot looked at.
If it's constantly hurting and throbbing, then I think you may have done some damage.
But you never know!

- Lightly press your fingers on the toe which is sore, and feel the bone. If it's in a awkward line, then you have broken it!

I have gotten in a plaster cast with crutches for 6 weeks for breaking toes, haha!

- Or, this is a other option, you might have sprained it, or pulled the muscles around it.

Take long, nice baths and try to get as much sleep as possible.

I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED!Health Question & Answer

I don't think you have dislocated it. Mostly, we a lot of pressure is put suddenly on any part of our body, the muscles get stressed. And if the pressure is too much they break, as in they tear off and bleed. That needs repairing, its painful but not so serious that you can't function. I think that is why it hurts but is not so bad.

In all, its best you go see a doctor, muscles being damage, they can damage and infect out healthy muscles and that can lead to drastic results. Please go see a doctor. In the mean time, i would suggest that you apply some tiger balm or Vicks and message it for 10-15 minutes, it'll hurt the first few times, but slowly it'll get better. Put something on it to keep it warm. But mostly go see a doctor.Health Question & Answer

sounds like a fracture, if it still hurts after this long.. if you can walk alright then its not too serious, not much a doctor can do except some painkillers and advice on care

If it's still hurting after 8 weeks then you have probably done some kind of damage. Go see your doc and get it looked at.Health Question & Answer
