What are these strange pains in my head?!

Question: What are these strange pains in my head.?
As weird as it is to ask, I want to know something that's been bothering me lately. Sometimes (like right now) I get this strange throbbing, heart-beating sound in my head and I have no idea what it could be. Usually it's what comes after getting up off the couch or walking up stairs. I also get a pain where it's not exactly a headache but a pain that I seem to feel in the central part of the brain. This pain feels like I've been struck hard in the back of the head and when I'm in this state, I cannot concentrate for the life of me and I feel like my mental performance is at a huge depression. I also feel the need to sit or lay down, barely able to walk. It worries me because I can't focus in school, I can't read properly, I can't study properly, and I'm concerned about my health.
What is the cause of this sort of pain/throbbing.? What's going on up there.? I'd really like as much information as possible. If need be, I can supply information about my daily activities, diet, and other things of that nature.

(P.S. I don't drink, smoke, do any drugs.)
Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Have you had your blood pressure checked lately.? Some times the blood pressure will drop when you stand up quickly and then when the blood is returning to the head it can cause the throbbing feeling that you have.

To be sure though, I would check with my doctor. High Blood Pressure is what is called the silent killer and you don't have to be overweight or things like that to have it.

Please get a good physical done to rule out high or low blood pressure.
