How can I learn to sleep on my back?!

Question: How can I learn to sleep on my back.?
It's almost impossible for me to sleep on my back, and sleeping on my side ends up making my neck hurt. I think I have trouble falling asleep on my back because I have huge breasts that are annoying and always get in the way. I'm very sensitive about them. I lay down and they're everywhere. Bras hurt terribly, even good ones I get fitted for and spend way too much money on. And when I wake up, I have the bra pattern all over me. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you.Health Question & Answer

Hi, Roxy, I had to train myself to sleep on my back too because of carpal tunnel in both arms. This was a few years ago. It took a little while, and a few nights without much sleep, but it finally worked. Of course it helped that I'd wake up with numb and painful arms if I forgot. I think if you put pillows, softballs, baseball bats, shoes, (whatever you have available) on your side--something that would wake you up if you rolled on it--then you'd have the habit within a week. There are many advantages to sleeping on your back. It really protects your face and helps deter wrinkles and puffy eyes! Good luck!Health Question & Answer

I did it by sleeping on a couch, then moved to a bed and put pillows and blankets at my sides. My friend puts a pillow under her stomach so she can sleep on her stomach, she has big breasts also.Health Question & Answer

Why do you need to sleep on ur back.? I've always slept on my side, like you I have larger breasts and they tend to put pressure on my chest if I sleep on my back. Just invest in a better pillow(s).Health Question & Answer
