Because you have a history of concussions, I would bet you are having seizures of some type, probably "absence" seizures.
You really need to see a neurologist for an EEG to rule out seizure activity. God forbid this should happen while you're driving.Health Question & Answer

Hey, This could be a serious problem. Just because its been going on for a while does not mean your safe.Definatley get it checked out by a professional. Are ther any other symptoms at all.? even that you dont think are of any significance. If you could give me some other symptoms I might be able to list some possibilities of what you could have.Health Question & Answer

If you get lightheaded, it's from low blood pressure. I'm guessing that is also what's causing your blackouts. I'd suggest talking to your doctor. If it's only when you get up fast, it could be orthostatic hypotension. Basically low blood pressure when you stand up.

It's really not something to mess around with. You are better off asking about it now.Health Question & Answer

Low blood pressure can cause fainting spells in some people. It could be related to your concussions, especially if they occurred recently. You should see a doctor for a professional opinion and a CT scan of your head, and possibly some other tests.Health Question & Answer
