Question: I have posted this a million times but no one answers, please, I really need some help.?
I have posted this question a million times but I get few to no answers and it's frustrating me. I had pneumonia in September (have been better for about 3 weeks now), and the past week or so I have been feeling very tired again and today the chest pains returned (mild). I have been working hard at work again and been busy during the weekends. Could these symptoms be from overdoing it or could the pneumonia be coming back.? Anyone who has had pneumonia before - how long does it take to feel 100% again.? I'm sick of feeling so tired =(Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It could take awhile for your body to feel 100% again, especially if you are keeping very busy and not getting extra rest your body should be getting. When we get really sick like that, it could take up to a few months before have all our energy back. also, a relapse is possible, so if you develop a fever again, or continue not to feel well, I would check in with your Dr. just to be safe. I would at least try to get as much rest when you can now and push yourself too much. Feeling tired is your body telling you it needs sleep. When we sleep, the body heals itself!

So...I answered...how about those best answer points.?.?Health Question & Answer

This is a a very complex question and is difficult to diagnose without a physical assessment. But to answer your question pneumonia can take a very long time to completely fight off. I would say that you are both overdoing it and the pneumonia could becoming back. Take it easy on yourself for a awhile, don't forget multivitamins and plenty of rest (7-8 Hours) If symptoms get worse schedule a visit with your GP.

Health Question & Answer

Did you ever return to you doctor and have a repeat chest x-ray to make sure your pneumonia was completely gone.?

It is very possible that either it never completely went away, or the bacteria that caused your pneumonia was a resistant strain, meaning it isn't as effected by some antibiotics and is returning.

You must return to your doctor and get another x-ray and labs asap. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

I've had pneumonia a few times, and like any illness, you need time to get back to normal. Sometimes the relapse is worse than the original. You have to take care of yourself and ease back into everything or you will feel bad for quite sometime.Health Question & Answer

My daughter had the same problem.
Turned out she had sarchodosis. It's a scaring of the lungs.
Most people don't know they have it until they get something
like pneumonia. I would visit a lung specialist.Health Question & Answer
