Question: Please help i feel like i going blank all of a sudden.?
i have been having a very hard time remembering where i put items like for example i will put my check book up where i think i will remember and a day or two later i am going ballistic because i can't find it. i am 33 and i feel like my mind is slipping i am forgetting appointments and when i am work as a cashier i totally go blank for a minute or two what is going on
with me is this normal or should i see a doctor about this.? Health Question & Answer

Sounds like you should be seeing a neurologist for this. I had brain surgery for a closed ventricle and a shunt put in a month after and now have "blank outs", memory problems, concentration problems, word finding problems, etc. Those blank outs and memory losses could be signs of "absence seizures" or there could be a problem on or in your brain causing this. You really need an MRI or CT scan of the brain and a brain specialist for this. I had a colloid cyst on my brain that was causing the same symptoms you mention you are having. I had headaches too along with some balance problems but the cyst was pretty big by that time. Not saying you have a cyst or tumor but there could be a problem with the drainage of your cebralspinal fluids or a ton of other problems the complex brain can have. everyone is like that , everyone is very forgetful, i kno it really it a challenge that we cant control and frusterating. its normal, but i dont think the doc can do anything cuz i told my doc, they just said take some glico bilcoca or somthing like that, its helps your memory, its a pill, try it. i tryied to try it but i kept forgettin to take it and just now i rember about it, i want to try it. its over the counter in vitamin section. also try to think about things you need to do more often than just writing them down and forgetting...always write your appointments down in a mini organizer ( mini note book/calender) that you can keep in your purse so u can always check your scedule. also write your stuff down at home too on a calender just incase you look the little one. also keep your home organized and not cluttered. have a place for all your stuff and always put it away when your done ! keep your check book in your purse. if you dont carry a purse, then keep your check book, keys, and mini poket calender all in the same place where you wont forget. probally in your bed room if you have a end table or a dresser or something you can put it in a place that is easy to get to, and a place that you can see everyday when you wake up so u can prolly remeber.
