Question: I just got home from the hospital and need some tips.?
OK so on sunday I went to the hospital because of severe stomach aches. So then, that afternoon after xrays and ultrasounds, they told me i have an appendicitis(btw i was 13 just turned 14 today :) ) Ok so now I get the rest of the week off from school, and I am sorta worried because I got alot of projects so I dont know if they expect me to get them all done because they are group projects :( And my stomach still hurts alot but Im out of the hospital because I could survive with pain killers and everything else is good. Do you guys have any tips on living the first few days after the operation without causing to much pain and all :( also any specific things I shouldn't eat or any tips at all about it would be really nice :) Thank you so much. I've had appendicitis they kept me in hospital for 2 nights before they operated on me the i stayed another 2 night and had two weeks bed rest. and taking co-codamal every 4 hours but the hospital gave me that.
Try not to move about to much, unless told otherwise you can eat anything but if they kept you off food for a few days just have soup and soft foods until you body gets used to it
