When i exercise i get sharp pains...?!


Question: When i exercise i get sharp pains....?
When im exercising, I receive sharp pains in my shoulder and elbow, depending on which type of weight machine etc i am using.
Even when using a simple crunch machine, when i drop it i get a shooting pain in my elbow.
Im 15 and am not overweight.
Should I try taking cod liver oil, go to hospital and get it checked out or what.?

sounds like you've damaged cartilage or tendons. rest for a while, and then go back gradually. if you have had a growth spurt you should reduce the amount of lifting you do, as this pain you have is a result.Health Question & Answer

you only being 15 you shouldn't be lifting that much or doing much in the weight area, if you run and are physically active you shouldn't worry about your weight. The sharp pains to me sounds like you could have a form tendoniatis. I got it after I broke my wrist 2ce in 5 months. You get a sharp shooting pain and it's not fun. if there's swelling you should see a doctor. But my advise is put a cold pack on it (gels better on the joints the pure ice...if you dont have a gel pack simply put 3 parts water and 1 part alcohol in a sandwitch bag and freeze it.] I would lay off of the heavy lifting for a little bit and let the elbow heal. You should get it checked out but glutamine chondroitin helps in injury repair, and it helps to strength and lubricate joints if you mean the pain is occurring in your joints!
