Question: Oh dear.. MDF Wood dust....?
Well, in wood work I was sanding a bit of MDF with no mask, and it was quite dusty as it was like a big plank, I was sanding it and then my Woodwork teacher told me people get cancer from breathing in MDF dust, now i'm quite scared, if you have any questions i'll add it in.
I breathed in a bit I guess, I feel a bit ill, i guess thats just with worry.

I work in my college's scene shop & we are constantly breathing in that ****. Now I'm not saying that it's not harmful to your lungs, but I can't imagine that you'll get cancer from a day's work. We usually keep our dust vacuums on in our shop, but from now on you might want to wear a mask when you know there will be a lot of dust. I know it sounds weird, but blow your nose a couple times too throughout your work. A lot of that crap gets stuck in there too haha.Health Question & Answer
