What does more damage to your health? ?!

Question: What does more damage to your health.? .?
I was wondering, what does more damage to your health, Smoking cigarettes or smoking a pipe.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Actually, ask any Dr and he will tell you cigarettes. You can get cancer of the throat, lips, cheeks, jaw, tongue, (you get the picture) from cigarettes but they say there is not as much nicotine in pipes because they are not constantly in your mouth like cigarettes and they keep going out where a cigarette will stay lit. When a pipe goes out a person has had a few puffs that satisfied him and doesn't light up again as often. My husband asked the Dr and he said if you had to smoke, a pipe is better. My husband doesn't Smoke at all since his heart attack 2 years ago and he said he had smoked so long he could never quit. Just shows what you can do if you have to.Health Question & Answer

Smoking cigarettes does more damage. Cigarette smokers intentionally inhale the smoke. Cigarette tobacco is treated with a mix of chemicals to change nicotine delivery, to keep it lit, etc. Where pipe smokers don't intentionally inhale the pipe smoke. Pipe tobacco is all natural with food base casings to add flavor and the aroma to the smoke. Health Question & Answer

They are both about equal, however, pipe smokers seem to be more prone to throat cancers while cigarette smokers tend to be stricken more with lung cancer.

The best thing to do is not smoke at all, but that is up to the individual to decide.Health Question & Answer

Both are bad, but filtered cigarettes probably are less bad for you (still not good!) than a pipe or unfiltered cigarette.Health Question & Answer
