Should I just take some Exlax?!

Question: Should I just take some Exlax.?
My doc gave me prescription azithromycin for acute sinusitis and I think it's made me constipated. I think that's been what my stomach issue has been but Im not completely sure...So anyways I took the meds tues-thurs (3 day cycle)

**Tuesday I got severe stomach cramps in my entire abdomen and loose bowel movements
**Wednesday I had diarrhea twice and stomach cramps and vomitted dark green watery stuff once. Never that color again...it was really gross looking. (Could Vitamin C look like that coming up.? Just a thought)
***Thursday I got those severe stomach cramps again only this time (felt like someone was squeezing my upper abdomen over and over) in only my upper abdomen and pain in my right rib and lots and lots of gas but no bowel movements. Vomited 5 times.
***Friday- Vomited once, no bowel movements but lots of gas
***Sat- Pain between my shoulder blades and my right shoulder and minor pain under right rib cramps with painful spasms there and some gas. I had a small bowel movement but it was hard and sort of light in color. Not dangerously light. Just light brown.
Sunday (today)- Mild cramps, no bowel movements, (I took metamucil), I still feel exhausted for no reason and I'm still nauseus but I am eating a couple meals a day now...I'm starting to feel rather clammy now...and sort of ill and I'm ready to just take something to get rid of it fast...(well relatively fast)

Should I just take some Exlax.?

Oh btw:
*I've been drinking lots of fluids
*I ate some yogurt and fruit yesterday but it's been hard to eat when I've been so nauseus and didn't have much of an appetite.
*took a couple warm baths..nothing happened
*I don't feel the need to go to the bathroom really...I just want to go so I can get back to normal...Health Question & Answer

Answers:
CALL a pharmacist at your local drugstore, or go in there. Tell him/her what you are taking and what your symptom is. They can make a fairly informed recommendation by checking the contraindications of the drugs and exlax.

good luck :)Health Question & Answer

these sort of questions arent something you should be asking on yahoo! answers, rather you should see a physician regarding how you reacted to the medicine he gave you. Another great resource is http://www.webmd.com/ Health Question & Answer

Lay off the dairy for a day or two and take milk of magnesia. If that doesnt work, which it will, try Smooth Move tea. Its an herbal tea that helps with bowel movements. both are gentle and wont cause you to run to the restroom every 5 minutes.

milk of magnesia is like 5 bucks at your local pharmacy, try to get flavored as it doesnt taste very good. Not a bad taste or foul taste...but not exactly orange triametic, if you understand what i meanHealth Question & Answer

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING. After all the vomiting and loose BM's you don't have enough of anything in you to be constipated. But if you still feel any nausea you should go back to your doctor. You probably had an allergic reaction to the medicine he gave you. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Try some 7-up for nausea...take tums or some type of antacid...eat lite meals...chicken soup, cottage cheese, bananas, toast...stay away from spicey and heavy foods. You should be OK in a couple of days. Health Question & Answer
