21/F just got blood work done and I'm unsure about some of the results. Help please?!

Question: 21/F just got blood work done and I'm unsure about some of the results. Help please.?
Mostly everything was normal. The results that I am concerned with are HGB was normal at 12.0 & HCT was low at 35.5. SEGS was VERY low at 37 & LYMPHS was very high at 55.

What does very low segs & very high lymphs mean.? I have had mononucleosis 2 times in the past and my immune system isn't so great.

Symptoms include: extreme drowsiness, no energy, and I've had some sinus issues but that has been a life long process. I just had a septoplasy/turbinoplasty 2 years ago. Can someone give me an idea as to why the segs would be so low and lymphs so high.? Thanks!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Segs are white blood cells. HCT is your hematocrit... and what it means is that you don't have a very high volume of red blood cells in your plasma. As for your lymphocytes, it suggests you are probably still fighting a virus.

I'd suggest going to see a specialist at this point. All of your blood tests suggest you have an ongoing infection of some point that your body is trying very hard to get rid of. You will need more blood tests, cultures, etc. to figure out what it is. Your segs are low because you aren't fighting bacteria, you're fighting a virus (which is what lymphocytes do). Hope that helps... and hope you get back on your feet soon.Health Question & Answer
