From what I understand about your condition, it is extremely painful! I am so sorry - my heart goes out to you. I certainly know what it is like to try and live a normal life when a part of your body just won't stop hurting!!

The one suggestion I will make is that you see a Pain Specialist. my guess is that you are going to need the expertise of a Pain specialist to assist you in coming up with a pain medication regiment that gets you more comfortable because once the pain management is worked out for you, you will be able to get some normality back in your life because I sense a certain amount of frustration!

also listen to some relaxing music and drift because I also sense anxiety - it really does help a person to relax..Health Question & Answer

My grandmother lived with a condition that sounds very similar to yours, where her chest was tight and breathing was hard for her almost all the time. She lived with the condition for 65 years, had 5 kids and formed a very successful business. She found that by leading a reasonably active lifestyle (just gentle walks every day) and by not stressing and taking life as it comes she could deal with the condition very well. I would recommend taking a step back and looking at what's important to you in your life. Is it family, career, school.?.?.? Focus on one thing at a time, slow down a bit, eat a healthy diet, try to keep reasonably active and you will find that it gets easier and easier every day that goes past. When you have bad moments, deal with them, but then afterwards leave them behind.

Try to stop stressing, start relaxing and be thankful for what you do have. It's not like you have to live in a hospital or carry a ventilator around. Good luck... I hope this helps.Health Question & Answer
