Leg pain, back pain, other leg pain, somehow related to sleeping or sitting in one position for a long time?!

Question: Leg pain, back pain, other leg pain, somehow related to sleeping or sitting in one position for a long time.?
Over the last year Ive had weeks on and off where I have either pain in one leg, or the other, or lower/middle back. The only thing I can think is that it is somehow related to sleeping in a bad position or sitting in a bad position. Has this happened to any of you and do you know a cure.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It sounds like sciatica, ans yes, sleeping or sitting in the wrong position can cause it, among other things. The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in the body so that is why the pain can seem to be in different places. I chiropractic adjustment is the best way to alleviate it. The chiropractor can also give you some stretches that you can do to relieve it yourself. Change position often and drink lots of water too.Health Question & Answer

Not sure what is causing tha, but maybe you could try a chiropractor. My sister in Seattle sees Dr Walia for her back & leg pain. His website is http://www.drwalia.com Maybe you could email him with your question or just find some treatment information on his site. Hope this helps!
