Something in my ear (left)?!

Question: Something in my ear (left).?
Well its summer and we get a fair few of insects in our house and think i might have one in my ear BUT its been like 2 days now. I have tried drowning it like 4-5 times but its still here. I have tried poking it out with my finger but i cant feel anything. So i have done all that AND it has been 2 days (one would think it would be dead by now) but i can still here buzzing sounds (sometimes quite sometimes LOUD) and i am starting to worry because i do not want to receive damage to my hearing so yeah. Anyone know what it might be.?.?.?.? P.S (its in my left ear)Health Question & Answer

Look up Tinnitus, that might give you some answers.
Tinnitus is not itself a disease but a symptom resulting from a range of underlying causes. Causes include ear infections, foreign objects or wax in the ear, nose allergies that prevent (or induce) fluid drain and cause wax build-up, and injury from loud noises. Tinnitus is also a side-effect of some oral medications, such as aspirin, and may also result from an abnormally low level of serotonin activity.
Mostly I think you damaged your ear drum and if you do not take it easy on the volume you will make that ringing permanent or you may lose your hearing all together.Health Question & Answer

How can you stand that. I would go to doctor or stick another insect in there so it won't be lonely. Health Question & Answer

I doubt you have a live insect in your ear - it would possibly crawl as far as your ear-drum then turn round and crawl back to the light.
The symptom sounds like tinnitus to me, too.
Just in case it may be wax, you could try the old fashioned and harmless remedy of pouring a teaspoon of warm (not hot!) olive oil into the ear (with your head on one side) then plug with cotton wool. The oil will soften and loosen wax.
In the UK we have an over-the-counter remedy called Earex which does essentially the same thing.
Do not poke anything into your ear like a cotton bud - you could give yourself a ruptured ear-drum.
