Question: What kind of physician would I go to for a physical.?
I haven't been to a doctor since before I went to university (17 years old.?). I now have a job with health insurance, and I'd like to take advantage of it. However, in browsing my health insurer's site (Blue Cross/Blue Shield, http://www.horizonblue.com), the various options for "which Specialty" I want is literally 100 categories long; 90 of which I don't believe are real words.
I just want a physical and probably some blood work done. If anyone is able to follow the link provided (the "Quick Physician Search" feature on the middle of the page), what out of that list is what I want.? See, this is why I haven't seen a doctor in years! Thanks.Health Question & Answer
