My Leg is injured but don't know the problem...?!

Question: My Leg is injured but don't know the problem....?
Ok I am a pretty fast runner and i play high school soccer. But for at least a year now since i started last year as a freshmen, my left hamstring (Back upper leg part) is almost like it cramps every time i run... I strech for a while pretty good and it still occurs and it makes me slower and i feel sad becauseof it i can barely keep up with anyone thats fast.... Thing i have noticed are: that run/sprint everyday, i used to run hard on cement playing with friends and racing them all the time, and i just found out it could be a tore muscle... if it is what can i do besides going to see a doctor, my mom is annoyed every time i ask because all i do is run bare footed... Answers:
take a break from running everyday if you tore a muscle it needs time to heal. its just like lifting wieghts. when you lift weights you tear the muscle and then you rest a day or two between lifting days to give the muscle time to heal. just take a few days off and stay away from running on concrete.Health Question & Answer

Potassium levels that are low can sometimes be a cause of cramping in the leg area (an example only).

As for the possible torn muscle the only way to find out for sure is to see the doctor for further exam of the area but in the mean time a leg support brace could be of help.Health Question & Answer

The quickest and easiest method is to apply antagonistic pressure to the involved muscle. By applying this anti-pressure to the cramping muscle we overwhelm the muscle cramp, causing a release, and thus relief. so press the opposite muscle..also analgesic may help u..Health Question & Answer
