Help with lower back pain?!


Question: Help with lower back pain.?
I have really bad lower back pain. When I'm on the computer, I'm hunched over a lot too. Now, when i try to sit up straight for too long I get severe pain in my lower back. Anyone know any good stretches or exercises that will help strengthen my back.? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks!Health Question & Answer

Its lifestyle changes that may help you get out and stay out of lower back pain.
Physical therapist helped me with 1) never stand with knees stiff, always bend them a bit when standing; 2) when get out of bed in the morning, be more gentle by getting to the side of the bed and swing legs down while on your side and then stand up; 3) drink 8 oz. of water 6 to 8 times per day, (good for lubricating) - really it is important to be fully hydrated; 4) best one - pelvic tilt - stand with back pressed against a wall, bend knees a bit, this causes the pelvic up tilt - it is the opposite of what you want to do - you may be trying to tilt you pelvis the other way to ease the pain, but the lumbar supports that push in to your back in a car seat is actually backwards if you have back pain. 5) There is also a roll that you do on your back, knees tucked to chest, hands on ankles, then roll back and forth - should feel good. 6) Lose weight, get on a healthy diet - eat the right stuff - smaller portions.
See a doctor, ask the doc to refer you to a physical therapist - 3 or 4 sessions later you may be cured for life, I was!Health Question & Answer

i think you need to check you chair maybe that the problem i had the same and it was my chair, and sometimes if you are on drugs or pain killer alot that might be the reasone. hope it helpedHealth Question & Answer
