Muscle/ankle pain. need help asap.?!
Question: muscle/ankle pain. need help asap..?
I hurt my self yesterday. my ankle is killing me. i put ice, heating pad, icey hot, and took advil and nothing works. Tylenol and aleve never worked for me. Advil always help with any pain i have but now nothing.
anyhow, i not sure what to do. so my question is. should i wrap (ace bandage) it.?
FYI: i work at the spca so i'm pretty sure i hurt it while walking the dogs, and i start work in about 2 hours so there is NO way i can stay off my feet today.Health Question & Answer

If none of those at home remedies helped at all, then I hate to say it, but you might just have to call your boss and tell him/her that you need to go see a doctor. It is very possible that it is sprained(because sprains hurt a whole lot more then breaks do) Wrap it in an ACE bandage and call a doc.
If you absolutely still want to go to work, then I suggest gimping in the door and talking to whoever is in charge and tell them what happened, they may be able to give you lighter duty for the day or until you can see a doctor.
