i have a pain that feels like a bruise in my inner elbow part hting and there is nothing there. I didnt hit it, i just woke up with it and it hurts when i touch it or when ui strtch my arm. What could it be.?Health Question & Answer

You have NO idea how many times I've woken up from sleeping and found a big bruise on my arms, or my legs. It's been enough to make me think that I'm being Spiderman and fighting crime during my sleeping hours, with all the fighting he does!!
It could be that you just slept on your arm wrong and hurt a muscle or ligament. Try a heating pad, or some deep heat type ointment to see if it will stop the pain a little.
If it is a muscle or ligament that's hurt, it may take a long time to fix or get better. Soem weeks to few months. Depending upon how much it hurts now. If it is tender to merely touch it lightly with your fingers, then something is more seriously wrong.
But if most of pain comes when you try to stretch......oh, then don't become middle=aged, because you'll be living with those pains nearly every day!!Health Question & Answer
