Question: My knee hurts whenever i sit on it. is it dislocated or something.?
whenever i shift position on my knees, i feel a sharp pain, but there's no bruise!!! wierd... i think it's because i bumped into the coffee table the other day. :)Health Question & Answer

1 If it hurts, stop doing it. *smile* Stupid answer but true...
#2 Depending on how old you are, you're probably getting to the point where the cartlidge in your joints are wearing and stretched and sometimes that'll be painful, stiff or sore-especially after a nasty bump. That soft tissue is sensitive. Though Sharp pain could be something different.
#3 You really shouldn't be "sitting" on your knees at all ~ I'm not sure what you meant by that (though the image is funny and all...) avoid putting pressure on your knees/joints.
#4 Obviously if it lingers, see an orthopedic doctor ;)

no its not seriously a kid got his knee dislocated at my school and freaked out and had a seizure from him trying to kick someone but he moved his leg the wrong way and it got dislocated......it was scary

put some ice on it and wear a splint
