Could this be a form of RLS (Restless Leg Syndrom)?!

Question: Could this be a form of RLS (Restless Leg Syndrom).?
At night when I lay down to watch TV or go to bed I get these uncomfortable sensations in my feet. They feel kind of tingly, tickley, and kind of like a little shock is going through them. It causes me to constantly want to move them, and I get the urge to put lotion on them thinking it may help. It doesnt. This is driving me crazy! Its not in my legs, only my feet. Any Ideas what it could be.?Health Question & Answer

My wife has put her feet in a big bowl of ice/water to deal with the sensations you are describing. also a Parkinsons medication by the name of Requip has helped some RLS suffers. My wife took it for a week, had a funny feeling with it (she hated the feeling of the drug, so stopped) but she hasn't had a single RLS episode in over 3 yrs now!

She also found that benedryl (sleep inducing anti-allegy pills) and gravol (dimenhydrinate anti-nausiant) CAUSED these NEGATIVE symptoms in her.

also neurofeedback may help. ref

Good luck...Health Question & Answer

Well I have RLS, and I get it in my legs, not my feet. My legs twitch like crazy and won't stop unless I move them and move them until I fall asleep (when I can). Is it the outside of your feet, like the skin.? Because if it is RLS, it will feel tingly and like creepy crawly bugs are on the INSIDE. If so, then it could be RLS. also, you may not be getting enough blood flow or blood circulation to your feet. Try walking around a little bit.Health Question & Answer
