Question: My boyfriend twitches in his sleep what could this be.?
His legs move constantly and he wakes me up. He sleeps through the entire night but I wake up every time he moves. I am typically not a light sleeper his legs jolt hard enough to wake me up. :(

It could be attributed to the stage he's in during sleep cycle. Stage N1 of sleep can bring twitches and hypnotic jerks with it. I think Restless Leg Syndrome will wake up a person if it occurs during sleep. Health Question & Answer
He probably has restless leg syndrome which is a very irritating and painful syndrome, i should know , i have it

It drives me nuts.
Usually when that happens they are having a dream.
