It is very possible that this will show up. The most common toxicology screens test for benzodiazepine as one of the most commonly abused drugs (this is the class of drug that valium is in). However, since you are taking this drug under supervision of a physician, and as long as you have a valid prescription they cannot discriminate you for it. you should have told them you were on Valium, and produced a legal prescription bottle to prove it. now, you will likely not get the job, because they will find the valium, and without an explanation, they simply won't hire you. no, they aren't going to call and ask you why it's there, in fact they can't it is invasion of privacy... you should have told them up front.Health Question & Answer
Not all drug tests check for the ingredient found in Vailum. Some do however so it depends on what they are checking for.
