Why am I so tired? Can sleep for 14 hours?!
Question: Why am I so tired.? Can sleep for 14 hours.?
Lately I have been just bagged. On a work day I can sleep anywhere form 5-10 hours depending and sometimes that enough, but on my days off I sleep for 14 hours and have to force myself to get up.
I am usually fine at work except a bit tired sometimes but when I come home I crash. Tonight for example I was so tired I had to sleep from 7:00-10:00 then get up for an hour and go back to sleep for 11-12 more hours.
I am pretty active, my job keeps me on my feet and I play Hockey and ringette full time (goalie)
The doctors do think I have a thyroid condition but I haven't had a follow up and that was around 6 months ago. Normally I dont feel like this though, only in the past couple weeks.
I dont know if it makes a difference but my mom is bipolar and she has fibromyalgia.
Hope someone has some incite, I am gunna go sleep now.Health Question & Answer

I would go to a naturopathic clinic and have all 3 parts of your thyroid tested (western medicine only checks 1) Thats a huge possibility. high/low blood sugars and Blood pressure and even your diet. It can also be a disease ask your doctor ask if there are alternatives or any new research being done with sleep studies.Health Question & Answer
It could be your thyroid condition. It could also be low blood pressure, low blood sugar, or anemia. If it keeps up, see your doctor. S/He will help you!
