I disagree with the previous poster. You do not have to accept this and deal with it, because it is miserable and embarassing!

I know because I went through the same thing.
It started about a year ago when I was in the 8th grade. And by about 10:00 am my shirt would be soaked under the pits! And I was in school so I felt as if I had to keep my arms directly by my side all day or wear a jacket everday.

I lived with this for the longest time- it nearly ruined my social life. I would go to sleepover at my friend's house and all of a sudden I would feel under there and it would be damp.

My life was saved when my mom made me a dermatologist appointment. You have hyperhydrosis. The dermatologist can make you sweat free (:
Don't try over the counter products- they don't work!!

Get a special prescription from the dermatologist. And don't be embarassed about it. Tell your mother now and explain to her what it is and how miserable it is for you.
Temporarily, I suggest wearing white shirts, and maybe even navy and black to cover pit stains.

Hope I helped;;Health Question & Answer

Hyperhidrosis is common and the Dr can prescribe a deoderant that reduces the size of the sweat glands.
If you want something over the counter, use BeDry available at CVS. It is the best I've tried.Health Question & Answer

First, realize that you are human, and therefore, sweat and stink. Second, accept it. Don't fight it. You should not want to stop sweating. We need to sweat.Health Question & Answer

see a doctor. A dermatologist can treat overactive sweat glands. Either that or keep AC on and wear more deodorant. Keeping hair off from pits prevents bacteria from building and causing odor.Health Question & Answer
