What's wrong with my knee?!
Question: What's wrong with my knee.?
Today I fell directly onto my knee cap on cement and now its really swollen and has a bruise covering the whole of it. I can't walk on it nor straighten it out and I have a throbbing pain all down my leg as well as on my knee.
I don't want to go to the doctor unless its really necessary so does anyone have an idea on whats wrong with my knee.?

It's probably just bruised. Did you hear a crack or anything when it happened.?
I'm a volleyball player, and I have lots of experiences from playing without kneepads and diving on the gym floor with my bare knees. They always bruise up and swell and hurt to straighten. You just have to rest it, and lots of ice! 15-20 minutes on and off. If it doesn't feel better within a couple of days, a week at the most, it'd be wise to stop by the doctor.
