Where can I find Neosporin or any other antibiotic ointments in Singapore?!

Question: Where can I find Neosporin or any other antibiotic ointments in Singapore.?
I fell down while skating that day and now I have road rash.

It's been 5 days since then and now I have scabs forming. I didn't really apply anything on it. I just washed it with water.

And I heard that Neosporin can help, but I can't find Neosporin in Guardian pharmacies.

I want to know if there are any other brands of antibiotic ointments sold in Singapore.? (over the counter). Or are there any stores which sell antibiotic ointments.? Thanks.

& What is the difference between triple antibiotic ointment, double and single.? I don't know which type I should use. Is Neosporin triple.?

Thanks.Health Question & Answer

Never having been to Singapore, I can't give you a specific place to go. I would think it would be in any pharmacies. Have you tried any pharmacies other than the Guardian pharmacies.? You could try asking a salesperson as well; English is one of Singapore's national languages, I believe. You should be able to find someone who can understand and answer you.
The difference between triple, double, and single antibacterial ointments is the amount of protection, basically. Singles have one type of antibacterial, which protects against one class of bacteria. Double have two, triple have three.
Yes there is a difference between antibiotic, antiseptic, and antibacterial. Most ointments (including neosporin) are antibacterial. That means they protect against bacteria. Antibiotic are more versatile (bacteria, fungus, other things) but you don't usually see antibiotic creams or ointments. Antibiotics are usually pills and taken orally. Antiseptics are usually liquid and wash away all the little nasties from the surface of the skin. They're used to clean wounds initially or to prep an area for surgery.
Antibacterial ointment will not sting. Antiseptic things will.Health Question & Answer
