came on VERY suddenly. was in a public restroom for over 1/2 hr b4 i could stand to make the 3 min. trip home. hurt so much i immediately felt the need to vomit (but didn't) - and i'm pretty tough w/pain. never felt anything so bad in my life. took an infant sepository (all i had on hand) and laid down. was able to rest and sleep for over an hour. upon rising, sm. bowel movement. felt better until now. intense pain in stomach and rectal area. hurts to push. hurts to sit. hurts to stand up straight.

depending on your age and medical history, you should try ex lax or something like that first, because more then likely they will try that as well. If not, then go buy a home enema kit and try that. If those dont work, then I would call your doc. if at any point you still have not passed a bowel movement or passed gas AND you are vomiting, then you should call your doc right away, or go to the ER. Again depending on your age or health, you could have a bowl obstruction (worse case scenario)Health Question & Answer
For about 1.25, you can go to your local wal-mart and buy the "green bottle". It is also called magnesium citrate. It is like a salty soda and you drink the whole bottle. You have to drink a couple glasses of water with it. Dulcolax and x-lax will also work, but may produce gas pains. Milk of magnesia is another over the counter option. Health Question & Answer
